Tomsk has topped the ranking of cities with the most well-mannered population

Tomsk has topped the ranking of cities with the most well-mannered population. The independent research agency “Zoom Market” has concluded this in a Federal sociological survey. Novosibirsk and St. Petersburg have taken the second and third place in this ranking.

The survey has been conducted by face-to-face and telephone interviews in 20 Russian cities. The total sample has been 2,400 respondents. At the same time, local residents themselves have been asked to assess their own level of intelligence.

The ranking has been based on respondents’ answers to the following questions: “Can you describe yourself as a patient person?”; “Do you always listen to your interlocutor to the end?”; “When making decisions, do you always consider the interests of others?”; “Do you respect any work of others?”; “Are you able to admit your mistakes?”; “How do you treat elderly people?”; “Do you often give up your seat in public transport?”; “Can you call yourself a well-mannered person?”

Chelyabinsk, Bryansk and Omsk have become at the end of the ranking.
